Day 2 was spent travelling all the way to the west coast of the Olympic Peninsula to take in some shot of the awesome "seastacks". This area is LaPush, where some of the "Twilight" movie scenes took place. The area here is the Quileute Indian Reservation.
Did not make it in time for the low tide, but still grabbed some cool mid-day images. Lunch was just outside of the Indian reservation at a burger joint, Three Rivers Resort, marked "NO VAMPIRES ALLOWED". Very good burgers and priced lower than what you would expect for being way off the beaten path.

Later, continued up to Cape Flattery, which is the farthest eastern part of the contiguous United States. Small signs say that in a hundred years or so, it is possible that the pounding waves will continue to carve out beneath the land and cause the whole area to break apart and dissolve into the ocean.
